About

Elena Verlee is an entrepreneur who has built a seven figure business and has sold two businesses for six-figures.
In 2007, Elena and her husband launched a quirky online business (selling men’s socks of all things) and using only PR in her marketing tool box, generated huge media attention to garner thousands of dollars in sales, achieve profitability in the first quarter and attract a buyer for the company for six-figures – in just nine months.
In her 18-year career in PR, Elena has worked with a range of companies, from mompreneurs and start-ups, to billion dollar technology companies. Elena and her team have placed clients in major US and Canadian business publications such as The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Globe and Mail, CBC-TV and many major European publications. As an entrepreneur herself, she is also familiar with and has placed clients in smaller niche and local publications like The Mompreneur Magazine, SavvyMom, Urban Rush, Breakfast TV, Santa Barbara Press, Honolulu Advertiser, The Vancouver Sun and countless other mainstream and consumer media outlets.
Elena is involved in three current companies:
She is founder of an international PR firm that works with technology clients to promote them in the US, Canada and the UK.
She is a certified professional coach for entrepreneurs and small business owners wanting to make both money and meaning in their lives.
And her latest venture is as publisher of this site, PR in Your Pajamas, where she integrates both PR and Coaching to help small business owners create a marketing and lifestyle blueprint that rocks!
Elena knows how to do PR. She is passionate about PR for moms and entrepreneurs and has proven over and over again with her small business clients that a magazine article or TV coverage will have amazing impact on your business credibility, and ability to attract not just customers, but also key employees, investors and partners.
