Elena Verlee is a passionate publicist with two decades of brand building experience.
Elena is founder of a successful PR agency called Cross Border Communications that works with high-growth and technology companies to promote them in the US, Canada and the UK. Elena’s goal with publishing this blog and do-it yourself site, PR In Your Pajamas, is to give back to her community and help entrepreneurs and smaller businesses who can’t afford a publicist, to get heard, get known and get talked about so they can change the world.
Elena herself is an entrepreneur who has built a seven figure business and has sold two businesses for six-figures. Most recently in 2007, Elena and her husband launched a quirky online business (selling men’s socks of all things) and using only PR in her marketing tool box, generated huge media attention to garner thousands of dollars in sales, achieve profitability in the first quarter and attract a buyer for the company - in just nine months.
Elena has worked with a range of clients from start-ups, to billion dollar technology companies to help them achieve publicity in countless media outlets, build their market leadership and attract venture funding.
