BloombergTV’s West Coast Anchor on the Go
Today we look into something cool that’s been happening for quite some time: the combination of regular TV with web TV and online video.
Our #FollowFriday-worthy recommendation this week is Emily Chang, a San Francisco-based anchor for Bloomberg Television and co-host of “Bloomberg West,” the new hour-long weekday program covering innovation, technology and the future of business from Bloomberg’s new studios in San Francisco.
Her most recent appointment last year at Bloomberg Television has put Emily on the west coast map, particularly among the high-tech sector where she focuses on global technology, software and Internet companies as well as trends in social media, entertainment and mobile technology.
Emily’s background as international correspondent for CNN in Beijing and prior position at KNSD (NBC’s affiliate in San Diego, California) is apparent in her style as she interviews various technology leaders in the Silicon Valley and throughout the west coast territory.
Her relaxed flair allows for casual conversation but her clever questions bring out valuable information from many leaders of the technology world today. That’s why she’s “easy” to follow and her shows are easy to digest as well.
Plus, for many of us entrepreneurs and business people, the hour-long weekday program she co-hosts with Cory Johnson is a refreshing but productive break from reading news and information.
