Why Sarah Lacy (@sarahcuda) is #FollowFriday-Worthy

This is the first of our #FF posts. Stop by every Friday to discover noteworthy personalities in media.

This Friday, our #FollowFriday recommendation is Sarah Lacy, a TechCrunch maven and author, always in search of new and hot entrepreneurs.

If you want to keep an eye on new entrepreneurs, cool tech companies on the rise, or simply about business in general, you will most likely hear it from Sarah Lacy.

Sarah is a senior editor at TechCrunch and her approach to covering entrepreneurship is smart and easy to digest. When I read Sarah’s posts, creative juices start to run because they always make me think about business in various angles.

Do check out her “Ask a VC” on TechCrunchTV too. It’s a must for anyone who wants to see what makes every investor tick.

Brilliant. Crazy. Cocky.

Recently, Sarah published a book entitled “Brilliant. Crazy. Cocky. How the Top 1% of Entrepreneurs Profit from Global Chaos”. I’m almost done reading it and I’m loving it.

Because I’m a long-time Silicon Valley resident who was born and raised in a third world country, I relate. More so, I am inspired and in awe by the accounts of the sharpest bunch of entrepreneurs in her 40-week trek all over the world.

Get To Know Sarah

I asked Sarah if she could share a few fun facts about herself so that you can get to know her. Here’s a peek at Sarah’s personal side:

Laughs at: My husband’s corny jokes

Hopes: Everyone in the US reads my new book — less for royalties and more to raise awareness about the amazing entrepreneurs in the emerging world.

Thinks: About work 24/7

Reveals: I had a weird dream where George Clooney was helping me poison Hitler last night

Dream Coffee Date: Pony Ma (CEO of Tencent, the third largest internet company in the world), Larry Ellison, Margaret Atwood or Paul Kagame (president of Rwanda). A weird range I know…

Is Inspired By: Truly great entrepreneurs — that’s why I travel the world to find them

Whether you are a tech watcher, an entrepreneur, a PR professional or simply someone who wants to find inspiration and learn a few things in business, Sarah Lacy should be in your Twitter Follow List.

I promise you will find her work, style and spunk refreshing. Find her at these links and let her know you found her at the PR in Your Pajamas blog:
