A Blog for Mompreneurs and Pajama Entrepreneurs

Join me if you’re a Mompreneur or Pajama Entrepreneur whose business falls into one or more of the following categories:

CabanaTime Minimalist - you want to earn an income without spending a lot of time on the business.  You do this through outsourcing, automation, information products or drop-shipped products.

Location Free – your Number One aim is freedom of location and working from anywhere in the world whether it’s a cafe, the beach, or on safari.

Doing What You Love – perhaps it’s still a hobby for now, but you are doing what you are passionate about and marketing and entrepreneurship are part of your lifestyle, not separate from it.

I’ll be exploring ways to be successful and creative with how to do PR, online marketing and branding, in order to achieve your business goals.

I’ll share with you the fun, the challenges (and sometimes the pain) of learning new concepts, technologies and mindsets that mompreneurs need to succeed.

All while you’re working in your Pajamas!

What do you suggest for the Mompreneur who for now needs to keep her buisness in the city. I paint murals and specialize in childrens rooms, and I feel like I have limitations to how many people I can contact because I work in the homes of my clients (and I’m not into traveling with my children being small). Should I try to just concentrate on calling companies/media in my own city?

    Hi Marilena

Thanks for stopping by! If your business goals are currently tied to your local area, then the best use of your time is to contact local media. I think if you start looking, you’ll be surprised at the number of outlets in your city.

Don’t just think of newspapers, pick up free local magazines, look online, don’t forget radio, TV and even local bloggers. There’s no end of opportunity in a local market if you just start looking.

And don’t say no to interviews outside your market if they come your way – it just builds credibility and one day you may wish to expand and building your PR now just serves your business goals for later.
