I know what you mean Alexis! Right now I’m just going through a minor revamp but I already know that it will need a major overhaul in the spring or summer as I am getting clearer on a new direction.

I’ve been through so many site re-designs because I wasn’t clear on what I wanted from my business (and therefore my site) when I designed it. The more clarity you have, the less your websites will cost you over time.

The one thing you always want to make sure of is that your site tells your story right up on the front page and then has a clear call to action so people know what to do right away.

You are going to be seeing some big changes with my site coming soon.

Thanks for making me think! Both my key websites are less than a year old – but I know I want to jazz up my coaching tools website. Maybe change the colours – energise it, and add a guarantee – I think my products are awesome and am willing to stand behind them, but I keep putting it off. And it NEEDS to be done.

Thanks for this post. I have been thinking about this lately because I recently re-designed my website (6 mos ago), but now I am not sure the image is what I want. I have some thinking to do… maybe I need to re-brand.
